I started writing again last night. I looked at the time date on one of my stories and it said August of 2004. I couldn’t believe it had been that long since I worked on that story. I was still writing sporadically this summer especially around the time of the RWA conference but since then I’ve been completely dry of ideas. I think I got overwhelmed by all the information and just gave up for a while. Well it took Sue Monk Kidd 3 years to write “The Secret Life of Bees” so I shouldn’t feel too bad. Nothing worth writing happens overnight.
