It’s that time of year. You know what I mean. Time to eat all the delicious treats that I know aren’t good for me 🙂 One of my favorite things to make for our family celebrations is chocolate chip cookies. My husband eats them practically before I can get them off the baking sheet!

Try them and let me know how they turn out.

Minx’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

In one bowl blend the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl mix the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients slowly. Mix thoroughly with either a stand mixer or a hand mixer. Then add the chocolate chips.

Bake at 375F for about 11 mins. Take them out when the centers still look not quite done. (This is because they’ll cook on the hot baking sheet for a minute even after they’re out of the oven.)

Enjoy the chewiest, yummiest chocolate chip cookies ever. Happy Holidays everyone!
