Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about The Alexanders, Blue-Collar Billionaires, and my writing in general.
Writing a book is an intensive process and definitely not a paint by number experience. I wish I could say exactly when each book will be available ahead of time but each book is different. Some are easier than others or require more/less research. The only thing I can say for sure is that I take each book seriously and will only release it when I feel that it’s the best story it can be. My characters and my readers deserve nothing less than my very best.
Currently I’m working on a brand new series about a rock music obsessed family in small-town Virginia. You can see a sneak peek HERE. I’m also working on a book for fan favorite Ethan Westbrooke (one of my most requested over the past few years). Sign up for the newsletter so you don’t miss the updates!
In Minxland, nothing is ever done, LOL. I’m thrilled to keep writing any series as long as you guys keep asking for them.
Do you guys want to read about the black sheep Alexander cousins who live in West Haven? (Grant in particular is just screaming for his own story).
If so, let me know by leaving a review on the books you’ve read! The more fan appreciation I see for a series, the more sense it makes to continue it.
The Bad Business series is currently free to read for members of Kindle Unlimited! Also check out the free books I have available on the Books page. I’ll update my newsletter subscribers when any series go into or out of KU.
I would love for that to happen. If you know anybody in Hollywood, put in a good word for me!
The idea factory! Only 9.99! LOL. Honestly, I have no idea. Pretty much I’m minding my business and then I fall into these extended daydreams about the characters that annoy me until I write them down.
Having patience when things aren’t going well. Some characters reveal themselves instantly like fireworks (Yes, I’m talking about you, Nick) and others reveal themselves in layers that I have to discover piece by piece (here’s looking at you, Gabe). Either way, I’m just grateful that I get to go along for the ride.
I wish I could give every character their own book but unfortunately some stories reveal themselves faster than others. Reviews are the best way to request a new book. If I see that enough people want a certain book then I’ll prioritize it.
I’ve had a few inquiries about my cover design services. Presently I don’t do graphic design other than as favors for friends. However, I will be developing a simple DIY cover tutorial soon.
Each year I try to participate in a book signing in a different part of the country if possible. However, due to Covid I won’t be attending any signings this year. Instead, I will be attempting my first virtual signing soon. You can always see what I have planned on my Events page.
The BCB series starts with the story of Tank Marshall. Tank is an employee and friend of Eli Alexander (All I Need is You: Book 4 of the Alexanders). Another character who hops between both worlds is Sasha Whitman. She’s the best friend of Eli’s love interest and also the heroine of Book 3 of the BCB series (GABE).
Um, no comment.
Even though there is a lot of overlap and the stories are taking place concurrently, each series was written to be read independently.
